AdClarity Main Feature Reviews
1. General Information
There are many scenarios where you will need to contact website owners or employees (think media buys). The AdClarity toolbar allows you to gather core contacts for almost every website, including names, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses.
2. Advertising Campaigns
Robust intelligence gathering is carried out on each site as well. Advertising Campaigns are found, listed, and statistically analyzed.
Actionability seems to be at the heart of the toolbar’s design. The intelligence is up-to-date allowing you to study traffic flows and take decisions based on relevant information.
Just like the web-based tool, you can view the data at multiple levels of granularity.
You can opt to see only the big picture, or drill down, narrowing the focus to show detailed breakdowns.
3. Geo Surfing
An extremely useful function included in AdClarity is “Geo Surfing.” This feature acts like a proxy, allowing you to modify your perceived location when browsing websites.
Geo Surfing allows an American user to view content from China like a Chinese Internet user, for example. Simulating being a “local” lets you see geo-targeted content and ads.
This feature can instantly “localize” your browser to more than 120 individual locations around the globe, which covers most nations. The countries that are not supported are probably not going to provide a very good market for your service in any case.
4. Platform Proxy
The tool also turns your browser into a platform proxy, so that you can view sites in their mobile formats – that is, how they would appear on various mobile devices such as an iPhone.
This allows you to check out how your site looks to smartphone users, plus pick up tips on how to configure the mobile version of a website.
5. Protect Your Own Campaigns
I would also advise you to use the toolbar to analyze your own websites.
This is an excellent way to get an objective look at which parts of your promotional efforts can be spied on by your competitors.
Benefits of Using a Premium Proxy
I am really amazed by how fast AdClarity GeoSurf works. One moment, I’m browsing in Argentina, and in the next I’m in Australia in a click of a button. There is no going back and forth in inserting an IP, refreshing and hoping the IP works. This is a click of a button, the page automatically refreshes and you are browsing in another country within seconds.
Ease of Use
This goes along with the speed, yet it bears repeating. The ability to have a simple drop-down menu, where you can click and go, is a huge time saver. You don’t have to load IPs, then refresh, and hope they work. AdClarity GeoSurf takes care of all of that for you with the benefit of the toolbar in your browser.
Accuracy of Ads
Here is where a premium proxy service really shows its strength. When you use free proxy services, they are known to inject their own ads into the browser. AdClarity GeoSurf allows you to surf like you are actually in the geographic area you’ve designated.
This means you’ll get an accurate view of the browsers and ads in Brazil just like you were sitting on the beach.
Why is this important? Because if you want to find partners actually in the area or make sure your ads are appearing correctly, you need that accuracy. Not a ton of ads placed by the free proxy.
AdClarity Pros & Cons
• Media buying analysis
• Google GDN analysis
• Optimize display advertising
• Paid keywords information
• SEO analysis
• Social media analysis
I really like AdClarity. I would definitely use it if I had a client that needed a tool like this. The pricing is a bit steep at $500 per month or $5000 per year, but if you are spending on ad serving and display, that is nothing because the tool is definitely worth it’s weight with the amount of data it provides you with. Overall AdClarity gets 4 out of 5 stars.
